When you order you will be sent a placeholder file guiding you on how to send your photos. Your digital file will be emailed and messaged to you on Etsy when ready.

Portrait from photo, simply send in your photo and we will draw this beautiful modern portrait that will look great in any space in your home. Painted digitally using digital brushes to illustrate your dog. This is not a painting with traditional paints, it is painted on a computer and then we will send the digital file to print on anything you like using your own service, select your option and size from the dropdown box.

How to buy:

2) You will get sent a placeholder digital file automatically. Don’t worry this is not the final file.
2) Click contact and attach your photos – see below for tips
3) We will get in touch very soon and let you know if the photo is suitable or if another one is needed
4) Once approved we will make the image and then email the digital file to you and upload to the etsy order area.

Photo tips:

If you have lost your pet we can work from any old photo you can provide please try and find one that fits the guidelines below. If your pet is still with us, please take a fresh photo with these tips in mind…

– Don’t worry about the background we will remove the background and digitally paint the portrait
– Take the picture in natural light in the daytime, preferably outside. Avoid dark blurry photos inside.
– Have the dog looking at the camera (hold a treat above the camera to get them to look )
– Crouch down so the dog isn’t looking up, camera at their eye level works best.
– Use a photo without shadows across the face
– Avoid photos where part of the head or shoulders is cropped, but don’t worry we can try to rebuild the cut off parts if no other option.
